Student handbook

The main purpose of this handbook is to provide you with as much useful information as possible to help you prepare for your stay at the University of Science and Technology in Lille, France (Université Lille 1).

We hope that it will also help you when you arrive and make it easier for you to settle in. We have also included references to other, more detailed sources of information (although more commercial too, at times). You will find these references as you read through the guide.

In the appendix at the end, you will find the «essential Lille Websites», with a list of all the sites mentioned in the guide.
